"like a tourist"

 

Hopped over to Amsterdam from London for a couple of days.Today's my mom's birthday, but I'm afraid there won't be enough time to go and see her. She's living in the south, and though Holland is a teeny-weeny kind of a country, for now, for me, it's too far, too long a way to go for a smile and a tea.
Have to be back in L. by friday afternoon, and there's lots of other things I have to look after..

but why do I feel so much like a tourist here?
