Newest acquisitions in the Found Tapes Exhibition are the numbers
#95, #97 and #98.
These comprise finds up to mid-october 2008, made in Paris, Parisian
suburbs, Amsterdam, Maastricht and Braine L'Alleud (just outside of
Brussels) ... Three of the 16 new finds included turned out to be
noisy but empty ... In the new montages besides this noise you will
find parts from a mix by an over-enthusiast DJ, east-european music,
french-african cabaret, arabic music, pop, rock, R&B, french rap/hip-hop
and recitations from the koran (or is it a sermon?) in arabic ...
